Men have always bonded over shared challenges, Unfortunately, we have largely lost the space where fathers and sons face challenges together.
The Junto: Legacy is a 10-week program where sons and fathers strengthen their relationship, as well as their bodies and minds.
About The Junto Hub
For every man and boy to have the tools and mateship to realise their full potential.
We know what you’re going through. Why? Because we have lived through these challenges; physical weakness, obesity, depression, suicide, abuse, broken relationships, addiction.
Acknowledging these issues and overcoming them are why we’re so passionate about helping others do the same.
Provide a space and network to support men's physical, emotional and spiritual health.
The Rules We Live By
- Be like The Rock
- You reap what you sow
- Grab life by the balls
- Through mateship we will succeed
There are clear differences between women and men. Gender blind health services struggle to help men (and women) optimally. While "gender neutral" services may seem fair and equal, these services can fail to take into account the different needs of men and women.
As Aussie men, we know we could do things differently. However, we also know it’s a bloody hard slog. The cultural challenges we all face daily to redefine what it means to be a man.
Mothers hope their sons come home at night, women search for a good man to love and only find stumbling boys in mens bodies, wives see confusion and unhappiness in their husbands and wish they could find their direction, and millions of men sit hunched behind a screen, vehicle or in a mine camp and wonder is this all there is?
Men are not living purposeful, fulfilled lives and leading with power. We want to see a world where men rise daily with purpose, where they are able to pursue their human potential and be a positive role model for all those around them, especially young men, as they navigate the journey to manhood.
When surveyed, the top ways men manage their health were, exercise & eating healthily, keeping busy, hanging out with positive people, doing something for another person and achieve something.
The Junto does all of this through physical training, working in teams, being connected with a positive place and individuals, education and support around achieving things you didn’t think you could do on a daily basis.
We know the importance of providing a space and opportunity for men to come as they are, without judgement or expectation, to grow and learn at their own pace. It brings them closer to who they want to be for themselves, their families and their mates.
The Junto is a mask free, ego free and d!ckhead free space. A place to access brotherhood and mateship.
